How is this calculated?

Personal third-pillar pension contributions are deductible up to 15% of annual income taxable in Estonia, capped at €6,000 a year. Enter eligible annual income before the general tax-free allowance and third-pillar deduction (gross salary for employment income). Exclude tax-exempt benefits and foreign income exempt in Estonia; deduct eligible business expenses from business income. Tax-exempt employer pension contributions use the same limit. The income tax rate is 22% in 2025 and 2026.

Calculation assumptions

The displayed tax benefit is a theoretical maximum. An actual refund depends on remaining taxable income, income tax paid and other deductions. Optionally enter the income tax still available after other reliefs. Results do not predict investment returns.
