Website design and development

I build business websites and online shops that help visitors find what they need and take the next step. I can help with a new website or improvements to an existing one.

What I can help with

Business websites

We define the site structure and the steps a visitor should take. I design and build pages for your services, products and business, or work from designs supplied by your designer.

WordPress and content management

When needed, I add content management so you can edit text and images yourself. I set up the agreed content fields and show you how to use the site at handover.

Online shops and integrations

I help build product catalogues, shopping flows and forms. Before development, we agree on the scope and feasibility of connecting payment, delivery, booking or other systems.

How we work together

  1. Purpose and content

We discuss who the website is for, what visitors should do and what content or designs you already have. We then agree on scope, price and timing.

  2. Design and development

I create the agreed pages and adapt them to different screen sizes. We review the work together along the way, with attention to loading speed, accessibility and technical SEO.

  3. Checks and handover

Before launch, I check the agreed features, forms and mobile layouts. I help launch the site and walk you through content editing. The website includes three months of free bug fixes.

Scope and pricing

Pricing depends on the number of pages, design work, content management and integrations. Existing designs or finished content can reduce the scope. The example pricing tool gives an initial range; I provide a specific quote after reviewing your needs.

The first consultation is free. We agree on the scope, price and timeline before work begins.

Before we start

How long does a website take to build?

The schedule depends on the size of the site, its features and whether text, images and designs are ready. We agree on timing before starting. If you have a fixed launch date, mention it in your first message.

Can I update the content myself?

Yes, when content management is part of the agreed scope. On a WordPress site, you can edit the text, images and other content fields we set up. I show you how at handover.

Can you improve an existing website?

Yes. I first review the current site and the changes you need. That helps us decide whether to extend the existing solution or rebuild part of it.

What do you need to prepare a quote?

Describe your business, the purpose of the site and the features you need. Include a link to any existing website or design, your preferred timing and a rough budget if available. A finished brief is not required; we can work through the details together.
